After a few months working together with Ura Design on our improved UX as well as our brand, we’re happy to announce that OpenAppStack has acquired its new and final name: “Stackspin”.
We wanted to re-invent the brand, because we noticed that the name “OpenAppStack” was hard to remember, didn’t sound very positive to everyone, and often got confused with “OpenStack” (an open source cloud infrastructure tool that has nothing to do with our infrastructure).
Stackspin, on the other hand, still shows you that we are building one stack for all your needs. It also includes a new logo:
This logo combines our new name with a hidden reference to the Greenhost logo, the company behind this project.
With the rename of the project, we have also moved our code and documentation.
